Give Yourself a Treat this Halloween

Hooray for Halloween and all the goodies that come along with it. There’s nothing that gets me in the spirit like smelling the delicious smells that Fall brings. So with that in mind, I want to share with you all some of my favorite DIY body scrub recipes for the season. And of course, it wouldn’t be Halloween if some of them weren’t pumpkin scented!

Pumpkin Spice Scrub:

½ cup brown sugar

½ cup granulated white sugar

1 teaspoon of nutmeg

15 drops pumpkin pie spice essential oil

2 cups Coconut oil

Pumpkin Sugar Scrub:

1 1/2 cups of pumpkin puree

1 cup of brown sugar

1 teaspoon of coconut oil

Fall Salt Bath:

2 1/2 cups Epsom Salts

Lemon Essential Oil

Orange Essential Oil

Red and Yellow food coloring

Mason Jar

How to Make:

  1. Add 2 ½ cups of Epsom salts to a bowl.

  2. Add about 4 drops of orange food coloring and 2 drops of red mixed well. Check the color. If it’s orange, that’s enough. If not, add one drop at a time until you are happy with the color. Add about two drops of lemon essential oil, 2 drops of orange essential oil, 2 drops of pumpkin spice essential oil. Smell and adjust as needed, one drop at a time. Mix well.

  3. Pour your soak mixture into the mason jar.

  4. Close and store in a dry place until you’re ready to use!
