IS Hydrafacial™ GOOD FOR SENSITIVE SKIN?
Hydrafacial™ can often be adjusted for different skin types and sensitivities. Your esthetician will evaluate your skin before treatment and modify the protocol when appropriate.
DOES Hydrafacial™ REMOVE WRINKLES?
Hydrafacial™ is not intended to remove deep wrinkles. Regular treatments can help improve hydration, texture, radiance, and the appearance of fine lines.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET A Hydrafacial™?
Many guests enjoy Hydrafacial™ as a monthly skincare treatment, although the ideal frequency depends on your skin, goals, and home-care routine. Your esthetician can recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER MY Hydrafacial™?
Most guests can return to their normal activities immediately. Keep your skin hydrated, wear broad-spectrum SPF, avoid unnecessary irritation or aggressive exfoliation, and follow your esthetician’s personalized aftercare recommendations.
Contraindications + before your treatment
Your safety comes first. Hydrafacial™ may need to be modified, postponed, or avoided depending on your skin condition, medications, recent procedures, or other individual factors.
Please inform your esthetician before treatment if you:
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Are currently using or have recently used prescription acne or exfoliating medications
• Have an active cold sore, herpes outbreak, infection, or open wound in the treatment area
• Have active or severe inflammatory/cystic acne
• Have significant sunburn, irritation, or compromised skin
• Have recently received a chemical peel, laser treatment, injectable treatment, or other advanced cosmetic procedure
• Have known allergies or sensitivities to skincare ingredients
• Have a medical or skin condition that may affect your treatment
Your esthetician will review your skin and relevant history before proceeding and may modify or postpone treatment when appropriate.
For prescription medications, recent medical procedures, pregnancy, or medical conditions, please consult your healthcare provider when necessary before receiving treatment.
Which locations offer these services?
Services are available at all four DE SUAR Spa locations: Hollywood, DTLA, Monterey, and Santa Cruz.
Is a service fee added?
A 20% service fee is automatically added to all services at Santa Cruz, Monterey, and DTLA. This fee is additional to the listed prices. Hollywood does not charge this service fee and does not have a sauna.
