How Does Procell Microchanneling Work?

The device uses a controlled vertical stamping motion to create uniform microchannels. The technique and treatment settings are selected for your skin and the area being treated.

Controlled microchanneling supports the skin’s natural renewal response, including collagen- and elastin-related skin remodeling. Professional treatment serums complement this process, with the goal of improving the look of skin texture, tone, and firmness over time.

Professional Serums + Home Care

Procell treatment serums form part of the professional appointment. Your provider will explain which products are used during your session and which recovery products are appropriate afterward.

Consistent, suitable home care helps maintain your skin between appointments. Follow the supplied recovery instructions before restarting your usual skincare, especially strong active products.

Concerns to Discuss at Your Consultation

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Enlarged-looking pores and uneven surface texture
  • Acne scars, surgical scars, or other scar-related concerns
  • Stretch marks
  • Uneven pigmentation and sun-damaged-looking skin
  • Dullness and changes in firmness or elasticity
  • Persistent redness or rosacea-related concerns, which need an individual assessment

Your provider will confirm which concerns are appropriate for this service. Microchanneling does not guarantee scar removal or a particular result.

Who Needs a Suitability Review?

Share your skin and medical history before booking. Contact the spa if you have an active infection or rash, eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area, open wounds, a tendency to keloid scarring, significant heart or other health conditions, recent radiation or chemotherapy, an impaired immune system, diabetes, hemophilia or another bleeding disorder, or a stainless-steel allergy.

Also disclose pregnancy or nursing, isotretinoin/Accutane use, current medications, and recent skin or injectable procedures. Your provider will review contraindications and whether medical clearance is appropriate.

Recovery + Aftercare

Temporary pinkness or redness, warmth, tightness, swelling, dryness, or mild flaking can occur. These responses vary with your skin and session. Plan enough recovery time before an important event.

  • Use only products supplied or specifically approved by your provider during the initial recovery period.
  • Follow your written instructions for when to cleanse, moisturize, apply SPF, and resume makeup. Our post-care guide recommends waiting until the next day for makeup when possible.
  • Use a gentle cleanser and clean hands; avoid picking, rubbing, or powered cleansing brushes during recovery.
  • Avoid exfoliation for at least seven days, unless your provider instructs otherwise.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and follow the advised sun-protection plan.
  • Avoid swimming and vigorous exercise for the initial 72 hours, following your provider’s instructions.
  • Keep hair away from the treated skin and sleep on clean bedding.
  • Discuss medications with your provider; do not change prescribed medication without advice from the prescriber.
  • Contact the spa about prolonged or unexpected irritation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your provider will recommend a plan based on the concern and your skin’s response. Some guests seek a lighter rejuvenating course, while more pronounced scarring, wrinkles, or laxity may need a longer series. Appointments are commonly planned around a month apart, with timing confirmed by your provider.

Some changes in appearance may be noticed early, while collagen-related remodeling takes time. Improvement can develop over the following weeks and across a treatment series. Your provider will help set expectations for the concern being treated.

Longevity depends on your skin, age, lifestyle, the concern treated, and maintenance. There is no guaranteed number of years or permanent result for every guest. Your provider can discuss a suitable maintenance plan.

Sensation varies. Many guests tolerate the treatment with minimal discomfort; you may feel stamping or a prickling sensation. Discuss comfort measures and any suitable numbing option with your provider before treatment.

Temporary redness, warmth, tightness, or swelling may occur. Some guests settle quickly, while others need more time. Your provider will explain expected recovery for the settings and area treated and provide written aftercare.

Microchanneling belongs to the broader family of needle-based skin treatments. Procell uses a controlled vertical stamping motion. Other devices may use different needle configurations or movements, so consultation, technique, and aftercare matter more than the name alone.

Facial and selected body treatment options are available. Consult your provider about the specific area, scar or texture concern, suitability, and expected course.

No single treatment suits every guest. Review the suitability section above and discuss your health, skin condition, medications, and recent procedures with the provider before booking.

The facial is $375 for 50 minutes, or $975 for three sessions. The body treatment is $450 for 50 minutes, or $1,150 for three sessions. Confirm the treatment area and any applicable service fee with your spa.
