DESUAR has become a popular spa with locals, created as a getaway for city dwellers looking to escape from busy, bustling daily life. Our Ambiance was carefully curated to incorporate beautiful modern esthetics, with an underground industrial theme with high ceilings and a vintage Moroccan twist. The interior was inspired by Deisy Suarez-Giles’ own world travel journey. The space is true escape from the city, upon entering you forget you are actually in Los Angeles, like traveling to another place,it’s a sense of peace and wellness upon entering the spa. Resting in the basement of the historic Jewelry Trades Building and occupying 4500sqft of usable space to renew and recharge our clients. Which includes, retail area, 10 treatment rooms, two lounge rooms, retail area to shop your favorite spa products, robes, slippers, two couples rooms, lockers, relaxation room, showers, copper soaking Tub , sauna (women lockers), tea, water & snack station, vanity area inside locker, and complimentary glass of sparkling wine upon arrival.
Parking:
Like most downtown centers parking in the Historic Core of downtown Los Angeles can be a challenge. With that in mind DESUAR Spa wants to make your entire experience as relaxing as possible.
Ride-sharing is highly encouraged.
Street parking between 9am and 3pm is on meters only Monday to Friday, with a 2 hour limit. There is no street parking between 3pm and 7pm on weekdays. Street parking is free after 8pm (check the meter) weekdays and all day Sunday. There are many parking lots in the immediate area, particularly along Spring Street. DESUAR Spa can recommend the following nearby parking lots:

Please Note: On Sundays there is a Farmers’ Market that takes place on 5th St, between Main St and Broadway, right outside our location. This can make traveling to our location and parking nearby a little more challenging. We recommend allowing a few minutes extra.
Cancellation:
We understand that plans can change, and unexpected things come up, so we gladly accept cancellations and reschedules without penalty. However, please understand that when you forget your appointment, or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.
